Diversity Visa/Green Card Lottery

Every year the State Department runs a visa lottery for countries that do not have a high level of immigration to the United States.

This year the Department of State will accept applications between October 5 and December 4, 2005. If you would like my office to process your application, please contact us. I will then send you the application packet. My office charges $45 for a single entry and $80 for a couple (husband and wife). There is an additional $30 surcharge for all packets submitted to me after November 18, 2005.

Winners of the lottery must apply for permanent residence or an immigrant visa to the United States by September 30 of the designated year, or they lose their chance to use that visa.

If you win the lottery but have previously had problems with immigration, it is highly recommended to talk to a lawyer to see if you qualify for permanent residence.
